Wigan couple in sighting on M58

On Tuesday, 23 February 1993 at 7.30pm, Ron and Marie ****** were driving in a westerly direction along the M58 motorway near to junction 3. When they observed a large orange coloured `wok` shaped object hovering near to low cloud with what appeared to be different coloured lights running from left to right of the phenomenon. It then started to move and its colour changed from orange to white then it disappeared into some clouds. As it changed to white they noticed that it seemed to have a black curved top.
